CLACC Summer Luncheon – June 11

CLACC hosted a successful Senior Spring Luncheon on Thursday, April 18. The community center is grateful for the ongoing support from the local community, especially our Seniors and local churches. Approximately 65 people came to enjoy the meal along with visiting friends and neighbors. St. John’s Catholic Church provided brownies and ice cream for dessert.
The next Senior Luncheon will be held on Tuesday, June 11 at noon in the community center dining room. We’ll celebrate the beginning of summer with Warren DeBoer, our volunteer grill master, for a “Grill Out, Eat In” meal. A free will donation is optional. As always, calling your reservation to 715-263-2233 helps the team who is planning the event. Please make that reservation by June 5.
One other bit of information: CLACC has started “Game Afternoons”. The first one took place on Tuesday afternoon, May 14 with a good game of Bingo. The next chance to play Bingo at the center is June 11. The game will be set up to play following the Senior Luncheon and the luncheon is scheduled to start at noon. Bingo games are 100% pay out with each card costing 50 cents and each game also 50 cents. More Bingo games are being planned for this summer, so keep an eye out for announcements. No reservation is needed for playing Bingo…just come and play the game.
