CLACC welcomes Pat Lillie as its new custodian. Pat joined the CLACC staff in mid-May, taking the spot previously filled by Ray Cress. Many of us know Pat from his work at the local school district. Pat worked as a custodian at the Clear Lake High School for 15 years and then moved over to work at the elementary school for 12 or so years until his retirement in September 2024.
When asked why he came to work at CLACC, Pat made no mention that the previous custodian had perhaps strong-armed him (some of us have suspected that may have happened. Seriously, Pat was recommended because he has the experience that the job needs). Instead, Pat stated that he was finally caught up on his sleep….and was ready to spend his time working for and with others.
CLACC is grateful to have Pat working here to keep the facility clean and prepared for the many tenants and visitors who frequent the 103-year-old historical building. Sally Johnson continues to help with keeping the restrooms in good order, just as she did when Ray was the custodian.
Welcome Pat! Thanks for what you’re already doing for CLACC. (Thanks to Sally too for her diligent work).
