CLACC “Grill out – Eat In” Senior Luncheon Held June 12

The Clear Lake Area Community Center (CLACC) held its Annual Summer “Grill out – Eat In” luncheon on June 12 in the CLACC Dining Room. Grill Master Warren DeBoer prepared hamburgers and brats on the grill (of course!). Diners also enjoyed some picnic-style salads and dessert prepared by Joan Lillie. 

Representatives from the Aging and Disability Resource Center of Northwest Wisconsin (ADRC) attended the luncheon and provided people the opportunity to sign up for the Farmer’s Market Nutrition Program (FMNP). This voucher program gives Polk and Burnett County seniors the opportunity to purchase fresh, locally grown fruits, vegetables and herbs from certified farmers.

Two reminders…the next Senior Luncheon will be on Thursday August 28 at noon in the CLACC Dining Room. Two additional luncheons are scheduled for October 23 and December 4. Also, don’t forget that Bingo is offered the second Tuesday of every month at 1 pm and following the Senior Luncheons.
