A group of generous and talented volunteers got together for a fun afternoon of painting in February at the Clear Lake Area Community Center (CLACC). Warren and Lori DeBoer, Dick and Peggy Smith, Tena and Wendy Schoggins, and Diane Blanchard rolled up their sleeves and pitched in to make light of the task. This time, their canvas was the main hallway, from the Center’s office to Sunshine fitness and the ADA door. A fresh coat of paint has brightened up the space considerably. Additionally, two classy matching benches, donated by Earl and Pat Larson, add a museum-esque look. This will compliment the ‘Smithsonian’ pictures which will be relocated to this hallway from their former location in the dining room. These wonderful framed prints chronicle the history of the area.
