2025 Earth Day Poster Contest

For the third year, Clear Lake Community Education and the School District of Clear Lake are hosting the Earth Day Poster Contest! Kids in the area can join the fun and show off their creativity and dedication to keeping their environment clean.


The school is planning a full day of activities focused on conservation, Service Learning Projects, and more. The highlight? Announcing the poster contest winners! Sponsored by CLACC and the Clear Lake Lion’s Club, this contest will celebrate talented young artists and their communities.


Six Student Prizes: $30 cash!

Six Teacher Prizes: $20 for each winner’s community (classroom)!


Poster Themes:

🌎 Renewable Energy

🌎 Biking, Walking, and Carpooling

🌎 Recycling and Composting

🌎 Sustainable Living

🌎 Litter-Free Environment


Deadline to enter: Fri. April 11, 2025

Submit posters to your teacher or elementary office.


RULES: Size: 11”x17”. Any medium (paint, crayon, colored pencil, etc.). Limit: one (1) entry of original artwork per student. Adults, please let your child do their own work!

IMPORTANT! On back of poster, please include: student(s) name, parent’s name & phone number, and teacher’s name.


WINNERS: announced at the Gaylord A. Nelson Elementary School on Tuesday, April 22, on clacc.org, clwarriors.org, and on Facebook. All posters will be exhibited at CLACC all month, and winning posters will be displayed in the Gaylord Nelson room in the Clear Lake Museum all summer.
