Seniors Celebrated Oktoberfest at CLACC Luncheon

The Clear Lake Area Community Center welcomed about 65 seniors to its Oktoberfest luncheon October 23. Seniors sat down to tables cheerfully decorated in fall colors.

Prior to lunch, Dr. Samuel Schultz, local audiologist, talked about the importance of good hearing.

Everyone enjoyed a meal of bratwurst, grilled by grill master Warren DeBoer, that was paired with complementary side dishes prepared by Joan Lillie. Many thanks to all the volunteers who supported the event.

Once lunch was cleared, Clear Lake Community Education's Wendy Schoggins provided an informative session on how to better use one’s cellphone. Participants found the information to be helpful for every day use.

Mark your calendar for the holiday luncheon on December 4. Bingo (100% payback) will be played after lunch and again on Tuesday, December 9 at 1 pm.
